The consulting firm KPMG has announced the failure of Monarch Aircraft Engineering (MAEL), which is considered "unsustainable in its present form". About 400 jobs are at risk. Most of the line maintenance operations have been transferred to third parties and administrators must now find a solution for the rest of the activities - base maintenance operations have been suspended. |
