The US Air Force has awarded three R&D contracts for the development of launch system prototypes for the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV) program by 2024. UNITED LAUNCH ALLIANCE (ULA) - throught its subsidiary United Launch Services - will receive $967 million for its Vulcan Centaur, while NORTHROP GRUMMAN Innovation Systems will have $792 million for its OmegA and BLUE ORIGIN will benefit $500 million for its New Glenn rocket.
