The SPACEX Dragon spacecraft successfully joined the ISS on its 16th Commercial Resupply Services (CRS-16) mission after launching on a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, on December 5 at 18:16 UTC. It was filled with more than 2,500 kg of payload, including materials to support more than 250 scientific researches on board. The first stage of the Falcon 9 failed in its recovery process and landed softly in the ocean.
