On December 3 at 02: 26 UTC, the Chinese National Space Administration (CNSA) CHANG'E-4 probe landed as planned at 177.6 degrees East longitude and 45.5 degrees South latitude, becoming the first terrestrial vehicle to touch down on the far side of the Moon. The probe, consisting of a lander and a rover, will now explore the Earth's natural satellite. It has already transmitted a first image to Beijing via the Queqiao relay satellite.
