IATA estimates that the air transport industry will make USD 35.5 billion in profits in 2019. Companies will thus see a slight improvement in their performance compared to 2018 (the year in which they are expected to make USD 32.3 billion in profits). Revenues are expected to reach USD 885 billion (+7.7% compared to 2018) thanks to the recent decline in oil prices and continued global growth.
