EL AL continues to adjust its commitments for the Dreamliner. Following amendments to its contracts with BOEING and lessors at the beginning of the year, the airline was expecting seventeen 787. It just cancelled one of them, a 787-8. It is now waiting for sixteen aircraft, nine will be leased (eight 787-9, four of which are in service, and one 787-8) and six bought to Being and covered by sale and lease back agreements (three 787-9, in service, and three 787-8).
